Beginning Sunday, December 9, 2012, at approximately 2:00 P.M., the Remaining Few Motorcycle Club will make their annual bike run from the parking lot of Harvey's Supermarket located 2425 Sylvester Road to the parking lot at the Kmart Shopping Plaza located at 2525 Dawson Road.
The motorcade route will travel west along Sylvester Road/E. Oglethorpe Blvd. (SR 520 BU, US 82 BU) to Slappey Blvd. (SR 520 BU, US 82 BU, US 19 BU).
At that point it will turn right and travel north along Slappey Blvd. to Dawson Road where it will turn left and then proceed northwest to the Kmart Shopping Plaza located at 2525 Dawson Road where it will terminate.
Traffic control will consist of a leading and trailing police vehicle with blue lights flashing and a third vehicle will precede the motorcade stopping in each intersection to clear and stop all traffic movements as the motorcade approaches.
Motorists are advised to slow down and be prepared to stop during this time period along the route or to seek alternate routes to avoid the delays.
