MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) -
A Moultrie man is in jail Thursday, facing charges of child molestation.
Police say 41-year-old Kenneth Washington is accused of sending a 12-year-old girl inappropriate text messages and attempting to fondle her.
They say he was watching the girl while her mother was at work.
When the mother arrived home, she saw the texts and called police.
Washington is charged with child molestation and Enticing a child for indecent purpose.
