COLQUITT, GA (WALB) -

Ronnie Tyrell James was arrested by Miller County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Shane Rathel and Miller County Sheriff's Sergeant Brad Cox, and faces arson charges.

Before dawn Tuesday morning, Colquitt-Miller County Fire Investigator Scott Worsley was notified about a suspicious fire by Colquitt-Miller County Fire Chief Craig Tully and Miller County Sheriff's Sergeant Brad Cox in reference to a fire at 440 Helms Rd in Miller County.

During the investigation of the fire scene, investigators saw that the fire had multiple areas of origin, and determined that the fire was Arson.

James was transported to the Miller County Jail, and was later interviewed by Worsley and Rathel at the Miller County Sheriff's Office.

James was charged with four counts of Aggravated Assault and Arson in the first degree because the residence was occupied at the time James started the fires.
