VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -
With information from Lowndes Co. Sheriff Chris Prine
On Tuesday evening around 9:15 a deputy of the Lowndes County Sheriff's Office stopped a 1999 Cadillac De ville on West Main Street in Hahira for a window tint violation.
The deputy said that Alvin Latron Gamble of Moultrie was unusually nervous. Gamble's drivers license had been suspended, and he was arrested.
A canine search of the vehicle was performed and the dog alerted to approximately a pound of marijuana in the trunk.
Approximately $900.00 cash was also located inside the car. Both the cash and the marijuana were seized.
Alvin Gamble is in the Lowndes County Jail, charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute a felony, misdemeanor Window tint violation, and misdemeanor driving with a suspended license.
