THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

Investigators say they are in the process of reviewing surveillance video they hope will help catch a group of home invaders.

Thomasville detectives say three armed masked men barged into this Clay Street apartment early Saturday morning looking for cash.

Police say the suspects beat up Marcus Rushing while his fiance June Johnson hid in the bathroom.

"When I went to answer the door three or four guys came in and rushed me and they just hit me in the head with a gun and hit me in the eye and asked me where the money at," said Rushing.

The gunmen got away with a total of $67, two men's watches, and a bottle of oxycodone.

If you have any information about this crime, call Thomasville Police at 227-3302.
