Two Albany business owners think the crooks who broke into both of their stores early this morning were working together, if not the same people.
Just after 2 :00AM someone broke the front door glass of the Hot Dog King in the 1000 block of Pine Avenue.
The crook broke a register, but there was not money inside the restaurant. The burglar left out the back door.
About 3:15 someone broke the window above the front door of the E-Z Corner Grocery in the 500 block of South Slappey.
The owner says the crooks smashed the cash register, and stole 11 thousand 500 dollars and a roll of lottery tickets.
Both business owners say they think the same crooks targeted them.
