ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Albany Police Department reports that Ronnie James Salisbury, 55, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault, Terroristic threats and Acts, and Simple Battery.

Johntavius Williams, 21, and Tenneisha Kennedy, 19, tell APD that Salisbury stood over Kennedy armed with two knives, and was trying to stab her while he threatened her life.

Williams jumped in to stop Salisbury from hurting Kennedy, the report says, and struggled with  him.

The incident happened at 1001 Dunes, Lot #25, just after 2:00AM Monday.

Salisbury was taken to the Dougherty County jail.
