ATLANTA (AP) - Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal and his wife, Sandra, are kicking off the holiday season with a tree-lighting ceremony at the governor's mansion in Atlanta.

The lighting ceremony Sunday evening is open to the public.

The lighting also marks the start of publicly offered tours of the governor's mansion.

Those tours will run Dec. 3 through 18. Visitors can tour the mansion from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Weekend tours are offered between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturdays and between 1 to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
