ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

People from across South Georgia were in Albany Saturday for the auction of American Idol Phillip Phillips' father's business.

Everything in Albany Sporting Goods and Pawn on East Oglethorpe Boulevard was auctioned off including Phillip Phillips memorabilia.

Dozens of his personal items such as guitars, show tickets and pictures were sold.

Auctioneer Tony Pearson says it was one of the most unique auctions he has ever been a part of.

"There was a crazy amount of good stuff in here, there was some really cool, old Rosaline Reels, and things that you just don't find every day, and then of course there was all the Phillip Phillips memorabilia, so it was a one of a kind sale," said Tony Pearson, Auctioneer,

Even the building and business itself was up for auction which has been in business for 23 years.
