ADDU makes drug arrest at Albany motel

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

We were on the scene this afternoon as drug agents arrested two men at Superior Creek Lodge on North Slappey Boulevard.

Officers were serving an arrest warrant from Terrell County on Ryan Williams.

They spotted marijuana in plain view. A thorough search revealed Williams and Tim Nichols had marijuana, 62 prescription pills, homemade pipes and syringes.

Drug agents say the dangerous practice of mixing pills with other drugs is becoming more common.

"You're playing Russian Roulette because you don't know how much of this is going to react with this other dug and if you put something on top of that then you're really playing Russian Roulette," said Major Bill Berry, ADDU Commander.

Both men are in jail on several drug charges.
