ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

We're just 17 hours away from kickoff of probably the most anticipated SEC Championship football game ever in our area.

The Georgia and Alabama matchup for a chance to play for a national title is giving one Albany business a boost.

The manager at Southern Pastimes in the Albany Mall says sales of Bulldog and Crimson Tide merchandise have been strong all week.

"This week they have been phenomenal. Everybody is coming in to make sure they have that shirt. They're wanting to make sure they have that sticker and magnets. They love to show their color with the car flags and they're putting their new flags in their yards and porches," said Joyce Luke, Southern Pastimes Manager.

The store is ready to order SEC Champions merchandise if UGA wins Saturday.

They expect a huge increase in sales if Georgia were to win the national championship.
