An Atlanta gang leader, serving a life sentence at Valdosta State Prison, was killed behind bars.
33-year-old Darryl "Mac Jones" Christmas was killed Tuesday night by a group of prisoners.
He was the leader of "Nine Try Bloods."
Christmas was serving a life sentence for two counts of murder and two counts of aggravated assault.
He entered the Georgia Prison System in November 2010.
The GBI is investigating his death.
