ATLANTA, GA (WALB) -

We are one day away from the big game in Atlanta. Third ranked Georgia plays second ranked Alabama not only for the SEC championship but a chance to play in the BSC national championship game.

Playing for a national championship let alone an SEC championship didn't seem possible for this Georgia football team after they were soundly beaten at South Carolina in early October.

Or two years ago when the Bulldogs posted a losing record for the first time in the Mark Richt era.

A group of seniors has led the Bulldogs back to the top and they want to finish the climb Saturday.

"We haven't had an SEC championship in awhile. We haven't played in a national championship in a long, long time. I think it shows how far we have come and we are back on track," said Christian Robinson, Georgia Running Back

The SEC championship game starts at four o'clock Saturday at the Georgia Dome.
