TIFT CO., GA (WALB) -

Hundreds of folks from all over the country are in Tifton sharing information on green energy.

The UGA Conference Center is hosting the 7th annual Bio-energy Conference.

Farmers, scientists, investors and many others are learning about different energy options.

Solar, Biomass and other companies are showcasing their research and products.

"We have a person here from China who is a research scientist on bio-energy but he also gave us a pretty good look at how solar and other technologies are coming in china," said Craig Kvien, Research Scientist at UGA Tifton.

About 250 people attended the conference.
