ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Dougherty County Finance Committee met with Judge Herbert Solomon Monday morning.

Judge Solomon presented his 2013 budget and told committee members about programs they have to help troubled youth.

He went on to explain the state lost a federal grant that cost Dougherty County Juvenile Court $10,000.

However Judge Solomon explained even with the loss, they are saving the county money so far.

"We have been over on attorney's fees. Because on those type cases where we deal with depravation and termination of rights cases, you can not account for how many termination cases you'll have during the course of a year," he said.

Dougherty County Finance Committee will not meet next Monday. They will be in a legislative breakfast with other city and state leaders here in Albany.
