ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A church group is raising money for a toddler who is battling leukemia. 3-year-old Brynlee Ethridge was diagnosed with leukemia in February.

Members of a bible study heard of Brynlee's struggle and wanted to help.

They're holding a yard sale fundraiser where all the proceeds will go to Brynlee and her family to cover travel and medical costs.

"We are all so blessed and just this time of the year it is harder, especially if you are struggling financially, so that is one reason we wanted to do this, but it's not just about meeting a physical need, it is a spiritual need as well, because we all need the love of God," says Lindsey Pool, Yard Sale Organizer.

"It means the world to us, we don't know what we would do without our community, it touches our heart really, we didn't know we lived in such a wonderful place until we went through this," says Blaire Ethridge, Bynlee's Mother.

The yard sale is Saturday December 1st at 7 a.m.

If you have things to donate you can drop them off at Coke Plant at 925 Pine Avenue from 3 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. or contact Lindsey at 229-854-7391 or Jennifer at 229-272-5730.
