ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
It's finally that time of the year again; Christmas tree lots are opening their gates all over southwest Georgia.
It's no different here in Albany.
Eame's Christmas Trees off Dawson road has provided trees from 3 feet all the way up to 13 feet for nearly 50 years now.
After long time owner, Dot Eames, passed away, the family was worried they wouldn't be able to continue.
But owner and son Glenn Eames says the community has supported them fully.
"So many people came up and said, you know we don't know what we would have done if you would not have continued the tradition and it's here, it's open, and it's a vital part of my family. We're just glad to serve everyone and it's a wonderful time of the year," said Glenn Eames, Owner.
Eames says they have around 400 trees ranging anywhere from $25 - $165.
