Lee Co. home turns on more than 60k Christmas lights

LEE CO., GA (WALB) -

Folks in one Lee county neighborhood brought in the holiday cheer and in a big way.

More than a hundred people gathered to watch a house in the 200 block of Story Lane be lit with more than 60,000 lights.

Homeowner Gina Clay says she and her husband have done this for years and it gets bigger and better every year.

They say they do it to put a smile on children's faces.

"This is just something for the kids. We welcome them and enjoy watching kids come by and having fun. It's happy times," said Clay.

The lights will stay up for the remainder of the holidays.  Train rides with Santa and his Elves are also available at the home.
