ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
Deerfield-Windsor is hungry to win a state football championship.
One player who really wants a title is running back Kh'Ron McClain.
Kh'Ron McClain wins his second WALB Albany Area Player of the Week Award.
Dr. Tim Darden making the presentation Wednesday at the Orthopaedic Associates Clinic.
The senior running back had over 260 yards rushing. Scored three touchdowns on the ground and caught a touchdown pass in the Knights first round playoff win over Tattnall Square.
Kh'Ron knows it is time for all of the Knights to step up their game to a higher level.
"It is always in my head and the rest of my teammates that when it comes to playoff time. It is time to turn it up a little bit", said Kh'Ron McClain.
Deerfield-Windsor hosts Stratford in the GISA AAA semifinals on Friday.
