ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Seven Albany families got Thanksgiving meals from a generous motorcycle club, Tuesday night.

The Viper Unit delivered baskets that included turkeys and canned food that will help the families have a nice holiday feast.

Club officials say they're happy to give and one family told us they're grateful to receive.

"We do it because we enjoy giving back to the community and it's just one of the things we do out of the year as far as giving back to the community," said Viper Unit President Marvin Thomas.

"It means a whole lot to be able to see people that have a heart. People that give themselves to other people who are in need," said meal recipient Adolph Kendrick.

This is the fifth year The Viper Unit Motorcycle club has given away baskets for Thanksgiving.

They hope they are able to give out more next year.
