CORDELE, GA (WALB) -

A Crisp County jury found Varocus Grant guilty of murder Tuesday.

The 22-year-old Grant was convicted of murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

He turned himself in after police say he gunned down 30-year-old Travis Shivers outside his Cordele apartment in October of 2011.

Shivers left behind four children.
