ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany's AT&T office wants the community to know it cares about the work local organizations are doing.

The Albany office donated almost $1,900 to the Easter Seals, the Food Bank, and the Lily Pad on Tuesday.

The money was raised through bake sales, a live auction, a yard sale and generous donations from the public.

"It took an office of about 64 people to raise $1,882 to help distribute this to help the needy in the area," said Gail Young of AT&T.

The food bank is planning to use its portion of the money to give away fifteen thousand pounds of food.
