An Albany man was killed in Tampa, Florida when he was struck by a car.
Hillsborough County Sheriff's officials say 63-year-old Clarence Smitherman was attempting to cross Anderson Road just before 10:30 Friday night when he was struck by a van.
Deputies say a "Do Not Cross" signal was flashing and Smitherman was wearing dark clothing.
