(ATLANTA) - The Georgia State Patrol in Manchester is searching for the driver of a silver Chevrolet Impala that struck and seriously injured a Talbotton man Friday night.
Wayne Willis, 51, from Talbotton was hit as he tried to cross Washington Street in Talbotton sometime between 8:30 and 9:45 p.m.
He was airlifted to Columbus Medical Center with numerous injuries including a head injury, broken back and broken pelvis.
The vehicle that struck Willis is believed to be a silver Chevrolet Impala between model years 2007 - 2009 with damage to the driver's side headlight, mirror and possibly the windshield.
Anyone with information on the vehicle or the driver at the time of the crash is asked to contact Talbotton Police, the Talbot County Sheriff's Department or the Georgia State Patrol in Manchester.
