Hundreds of screaming girls nationwide will be all smiles today. That's because American Idol Season 11 Winner Phillip Phillips, drops his new cd. His album is now available for purchase and download.
Phillips debut CD is called, "The World From The Side Of The Moon." His album has 16 tracks with his raspy signature sound according to Billboard.com.
Fans can buy his CD on Itunes, Target, and the website Amazon.com. The prices range from $12 to $13, depending on where you buy it. His cd has elements of pop, rock, and folk music. Sales of Phillip Phillips' Home have topped 1 million, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Very few Idol winners have success after the show. Online critics are comparing Phillips music to The Dave Mathews Band, and Mumford and Son.
The Most Successful American Idol Alum are Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Chris Daughtry, Jennifer Hudson and Fantasia Barrino.
