Retail experts are expecting a solid holiday shopping season.
The National Retail Federation projects a 4.1 percent increase in holiday sales over last year.
It's the most optimistic forecast since the recession.
The NRF also expects retailers will hire up to 625,000 seasonal Employees.
Workers at the Albany Target told us they expect a good Christmas season and they're ready for the rush.
"We executed holiday staffing plans two or three weeks ago, so were actually manned with 30 more employees than normal and we made a very, very detailed penciled in schedule because it's subject to change," said Julia Yarbrough, Target Team Leader.
Last year, the NRF projected growth of 3.5 percent. Actual holiday sales in 2011 grew 5.6 percent.
