Wildlife Arts Festival kicks off in T'ville

THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

Fans of art, wildlife, and wildlife art can attend an annual festival this weekend.

The 17th Plantation Wildlife Arts Festival kicks off Friday night at the Thomasville Center for the Arts.

65 of the country's top wildlife painters, sculptors, carvers, photographers, and jewelers will showcase their work.

"It definitely does bring people in. We've had people call in from all over the country who are interested in either buying the art or coming to Thomasville. So it's a neat thing for Thomasville and the Center for the Arts," said Show Chairman Gates Kirkhan.

Festival tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for kids ages five to 11.

All festival tickets include weekend admission to Pebble Hill Plantation.
