DOUGHERTY COUNTY, GA -

Dougherty County Police are investigating the burglary of a liquor store, where the crooks seemed to pick out and steal only the top brands.

Burglars broke into the County Line Liquor Store in the 400 block of Moultrie Road through the drive-thru window and turned the surveillance camera toward the ceiling.

The crooks took about one thousand dollars worth of Crown Royal Whiskey, Jose Gold Tequila, Hennessy Cognac, and other expensive brands of liquor.

They also stole a Baretta shotgun worth more than $800 dollars.

The alarm in the store went off at 1:30 AM, but owners thought it was a false alarm, and did not call police then.
