A metro Atlanta family is looking for a good Samaritan who helped an injured little boy after a car crash that killed his mother last month in Mitchell County.
2-year-old Zander Lee suffered a skull fracture, a fractured vertebra, multiple spinal contusions and a pulmonary contusion.
His mother, Kristen Lee was killed when she lost control and slammed into a utility pole on Old Georgia Highway 3.
The family is looking for a witness who stayed with Zander until paramedics arrived.
His grandparents are taking care of him after he was released from Scottish Rite Hospital in Atlanta Friday.
"We're grateful that Zander survived the car accident. God was with him and we're just grateful that he's alive and we feel like he will make a full recovery, but it's going to take some time," said Reed Beard.
Zander still must go through more therapy. If you'd like to help the family with medical bills, you can donate to trust fund at Newton Federal Bank in Covington.
