VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

A Valdosta man is out of the hospital tonight after two men beat him up and stole his money.

51-year-old Gary Harnage was riding his bike on this trail near Hill Avenue and Norman Drive last night when two men beat him and stole his cash. He was taken to South Georgia Medical Center and received ten stitches over his eye.

Harnage's friend, Rosemary Gardner said, "He was coming home on the path down here and he waved to me like he normally does and I didn't think anything of it and then all of a sudden he collapsed right in front of my window, and I went out to check on him and he was sitting on the ground with blood running down his face."

Police are searching for the two armed robbers. If you have any information, you're asked to call Valdosta Police at 229-242-2606.
