    The Dougherty County Sheriff's Office and the Albany Gang Unit will be in on high alert this weekend after "Purge" threats hit social media. Albany is one of several cities that has been targeted. It mimics the 2013 horror film, "The Purge."

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Jefferson St. Boys & Girls Club Unit annual Thanksgiving dinner will be held this evening at 5:00 at the Jefferson Street Unit at 1309 North Jefferson Street.

The organization says it will feed club members, their parents, and the community.

Boys & Girls Club leadership units Keystone and Parents Clubs will be for serving the food.

The Boys & Girls Club has served its Thanksgiving Dinner to club members, their families, and the community for the past 15 years.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Albany are open to all young people between the ages of 6-18. Their mission is to inspire young people to become productive, responsible & caring citizens each and every day. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Albany is committed to helping youth reach their full potential.
