VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

If you need to call South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta early tomorrow, you'll have to dial a different number.

The hospital is upgrading its telephone system.

All land lines will be disconnected from 3 a.m. to 7 a.m. tomorrow, but there is still a way to reach the hospital.

"We do have procedures scheduled that start in our OR at 6-6:30 in the morning, we call those patients our early admission. In the event that you should have to call the hospital if you're sick, if you need to cancel, we just want to put that number 229-259-7200 out there," said Laura Love, SGMC.

The phone lines should be back up tomorrow morning.
