Darton women win NJCAA opener - WALB.com, Albany News, Weather, Sports

The Darton women's soccer team had no trouble defeating Muskegon Community  College 4-0 in their first game of pool play at the NJCAA Division I national tournament in Melbourne, Florida.

Darton will now play #1 Brevard in the second pool play game at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday.

The winner of the Darton/Brevard game will advance to the national semifinals on Friday.

Brevard beat Darton 2-0 in Albany in September.

Since then, Darton has won 11 of its last 12 matches.
