Man burglarizes Valdosta Mall after hours

VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Valdosta Police are looking for a man who stole cash from three restaurants inside the Valdosta Mall.

Investigators don't know if the thief broke into the mall or hid until it closed last Thursday.

Friday morning, three mall employees reported all of their cash was gone from the registers. The man stole from Subway, Dairy Queen, and American Deli.

"We really don't know at this point, we don't know if it was somebody that was locked in the mall after they closed. We don't believe there were any signs of forced entry so however they got in was probably not by forceful means," said Captain Bobbi McGraw, VPD.

Police are looking for an African American male who was wearing a striped shirt, khaki cargo shorts and a baseball cap. If you have any information on this burglary Valdosta Police ask you to call 229-293-3091.
