Albany Firefighters are investigating a vacant house fire. Albany Firefighters responded to 207 Whitehead Drive shortly after 3:30 this morning.
After arriving they immediately went to work putting out the flames. No one was inside at the time of fire.
It took firefighters almost 40 minutes to have everything under control. We talked to a neighbor who was shocked to see the flames.
"I saw smoke that's why I came over here to see what's going on," said Neighbor O'ryan Pickle.
"We had no power to the building. I can't speculate on it. The investigation should turn up results and let us know exactly what happened," said AFD Battalion Chief Daniel Potter.
The arson investigator will be called in to determine the cause of the fire.
