VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Valdosta Police are trying to find out who committed an armed Robbery of the RaceWay Store on North St. Augustine Road early Tuesday morning.

About 2:42AM officers responded to the Race Way after the clerk, Muzaffar Khusnidione, said that two men came in, one with a handgun, and demanded the money.

Khusnidione said there was one white man in his early to mid 20s with a slim build and one African American male in his early to mid 20s with a medium build. Both were wearing hoodies and had bandanas over their faces.

A detective from the Valdosta Police Department Person's Crime Unit and a Crime Scene Technician from the Valdosta-Lowndes Crime Lab responded to investigate, and it appears that the incident was captured on the store surveillance cameras.

No one was hurt during the incident and the criminals ran away with an undisclosed amount of money.

Anyone having any further information regarding this crime or any other crime is urged to contact the Valdosta Police Department at 229-293-3145 or can remain anonymous at 229-293-3091.
