CAIRO, GA (WALB) -

Grady County Sheriff Harry Young and challenger Earl Stuckey are trying to drum up last minute support in a tightly contested sheriff race in Cairo.

The opposing camps are campaigning just a few yards from each other, outside the Grady County Agricenter.

They are set up just outside the "No campaigning" line, where they'll both be seen by the maximum number of voters making their way to the poll. This is the Cairo polling place with the most traffic.

Businessman and former law enforcer Earl Stuckey is challenging Sheriff Harry Young for the third time.

Young is trying to become the first Grady County Sheriff in more than 50 years to win three consecutive terms.
