Division II Georgia Southwestern pushed Auburn for much of their preseason game.
The Southeastern Conference Tigers pulled away in the second half for a 66-50 win at the Auburn Arena.
Noel Johnson led Auburn with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
JUCO transfer Asauhn Dixon Tatum, who played last season at Chattahoochee Tech, led the Tigers with 11 points and blocked 4 shots.
Michael Tankersley and Matt Shaw each had 10 points to lead GSW in scoring.
GSW opens their season at home Friday against Fort Valley State.
