ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

One Albany woman is shaken up after a bullet shot through her front door when gunfire erupted on Mulberry Avenue.

Melissa Thomas lives in one of the nearby houses where police say a fight lead to suspects opening fire in the usually quiet neighborhood.

Thomas was inside her home when one of the bullets came through her front door and shattered a picture frame.

Thankfully no one was injured but she says the recent shooting has left her and her family scared for their safety.

"A bullet came through my house. I'm an innocent bystander and it hit my frame. It could have been my grandchildren, somebody standing behind there and it could have happened. I mean I'm innocent, not bothering anybody. Don't come in a neighborhood where you don't live and start firing shots," says Thomas.

Police say one person is in custody and no one was injured.
