ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Jack Ivey says a man from Kingston, Jamaica by the name of Tommy Lee called his house about 30 times in one hour.

The man claimed Ivey had won $3.5 million and a car.

All he had to do to collect was send $350 on a green dot card and a copy of his driver's license.

Ivey knew it was a scam and notified authorities.

He wants to make sure no one, especially the elderly, falls for it.

"Don't let persistence get upon you. If this gentleman contact you, do not do anything he says. Do not fall for anything he says," said Ivey.

If you receive a call like this, law enforcers say you should just hang up and never give out your personal information.
