THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -
Folks with little or no insurance continue to benefit from a free health clinic in Thomasville.
In some cases the clients are also the volunteers.
Dawson Street Baptist Church is hosting a three day Baptist Mobile Health Clinic.
Hundreds of low income south Georgians each day are receiving free dental work, hearing and vision checks, as well as other preventative treatments.
"I look forward to this event. First of all as a volunteer with registration and helping patients to get care. And than also as the client getting the health screening is a good early detection of anything that could be going on," said Volunteer and Client Debra Fitzgerald.
The third and final day of the clinic kicks off Saturday morning at 8.
