ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
If you are looking for something to do this weekend, you may want to head over Graceway is gearing up for its annual fall festival.
Graceway is a faith based 12 step recovery programs for women.
It's a non-profit organization and they depend entirely on donations and money raised through fundraisers.
The festival is geared towards kids and adults.
For adults, there is a special horseback ride. You must bring your own horse, but for $25 your led on a 2 and a half hour ride on a beautiful plantation.
You can even ride down through the Kinchafoonee creek.
For kids, there are tons of fun events from pony rides, a petting zoo, hayrides and much more.
And all of the money goes to Graceway, there is also a silent auction geared towards adults, with massages, dinners and other great gifts.
Without festivals and donations, Graceway would not be able to provide a much needed recovery program for girls.
"It's approximately $2,000 dollars just to support one patient for a month, so it's a lot of money. It's important to have those donations coming in and that's why we do fundraisers," said Lynette Talley, Spokesperson for Graceway.
Last year they raised around $2,000 and this year they hope to raise enough to support all 8 women in the house.
