ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

It's Halloween - a scary but sweet night - and if you like candy we've got just the place for you to go.

While most children will make their way along streets looking for treats, there are options.

One of the biggest is put on by Sherwood Baptist Church.

Joiner says that one of the new attractions this year will be an area for special needs children called the Buddy Zone.

With the Buddy Zone, they say that everyone can enjoy this year's event.

Candy Fest ran from six to nine Wednesday night.

Organizers say that getting into the festival was as simple as bringing a bag of candy for the kids.  They say that any leftover candy will be given to the Sheriff's Office to distribute.
