ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
City of Albany engineers now say they will not close part of North Davis Street Thursday.
They issued a statement saying that on Thursday November 1, 2012, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the 600 block of North Davis Street would be closed to through traffic while contractors install storm pipe under the roadway.
A detour route would have guided traffic around the closed section of the street.
