BAINBRIDGE, GA (WALB) -

A Bainbridge man is dead after being stabbed Sunday at the Bainbridge Shrine Club at 2722 Thomasville Road around 2:45 a.m.

Upon arrival officers from the Decatur County Sheriff's Office found 27-year-old Ervin Flanders Jr. of Bainbridge non responsive lying on the ground.

As investigators began chest compressions, they noticed a puncture wound on Flanders neck and blood around his abdomen region.

Investigators continued to work save Flanders life until EMS arrived where they transferred him to Bainbridge Memorial Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Witnesses told police that 22-year-old Dorian Goss and Flanders were fighting outside the club when Goss appeared to swing an object towards Flanders neck, shortly after Flanders fell to the ground.

Witnesses say the object Goss could have used may have been a screw driver.

Police are still searching for Goss and this case still remains under investigation.
