ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Asia Cook is campaigning for Verizon's Ultimate Reign competition.

She and dozens of other Historically Black College and University Kings and Queens hope they will be crowned the winner.

Verizon says people who log on and vote are helping not just one contestant, but an entire community. The Grand Prize winner will receive $15,000 to support their community service initiative.

By voting for your favorite HBCU King or Queen and then tweeting your support for them with #VZWUltimateReign, voters will be entered to win a DROID RAZR each week during the voting period.

As of Friday, Albany State's Asia Cook was in second place, behind Ashley Mozingo of Winston-Salem State University.
