ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
Domestic violence survivors and advocates gathered in downtown Albany Thursday night to raise awareness about the problem.
The Liberty House hosted a vigil called "Remember, Celebrate, and Connect" to conclude Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
It included a silent witness walk, testimonials from survivors and a candle lighting service. They also read the names of 69 people killed by domestic violence in Georgia in the last year.
