Church holds prayer service for country

Posted: Updated:
AMERICUS, GA (WALB) -

A church in Americus is holding a prayer service for the community as election day approaches. St. John's Anglican Church invites everyone to join them for the "God and Country" prayer service.

They hope this non-partisan, non-denominational service will promote a revival in the church and commitment to prayer for our national leaders.

"We need to come together as a community and as a country in prayer to God, asking him to be with our country, be with the election process, that his will might be done for this country," says Father Don Hutchens>

This service will be held on Sunday, November 4th at 4 P-M at Lenny's Market in Americus.
