From the age of 10 years old Lowndes High defensive back and return specialist Tiquan Lang said he knew he was just born to play football.
Lang is one of our WALB Top Ten players. He comes from a close nit family who he enjoys playing in front of on Friday nights at Martin Stadium. Lang has already verbally committed to South Alabama saying the football facilities and philosophy are top notch.
Education is also a major factor in his life and he has a special message for young football stars coming up about the importance of staying in their books.
"It's real important. Without education you wont be able to do anything in life. So you have to stay in school, do your work, you can't go in the classroom playing around and stuff. It's a big part of life."
Lang suffered a high ankle sprain in practice this week and says he'll be out of the Vikings game against Tift County on Friday.
