Romney supporters gather to watch final presidential debate

Posted: Updated:
LEE COUNTY, GA (WALB) -

You may have watched the debate at home Monday night.

Some Mitt Romney supporters gathered to watch it together at the GOP headquarters in Lee County.

Mitt Romney supporters came out to Lee County to see the former Massachusetts Governor Take on President Obama in the last debate before the election.

Romney supporters were fired up as President Obama and Romney went back and forth discussing foreign policy.

We spoke to a couple of Romney supporters and got their take on what they expect in the upcoming November election.

We even talked to a female Romney supporter and got her opinion on Romney's appeal to women voters and reaction to the Governor's "Binder full of women" comment from the previous debate that has become a late night punch line.

"I don't take that stuff very seriously. I know Governor Romney is not anti-women and I know neither is Barack Obama anti-woman. No one is today. I really didn't pay much attention to it," said Romney supporter Jane Zingaro.

I don't want to see them fight. I want to see Obama say what his platform is and I want to see Romney tell America what his platform is and let the people decide. Let's not decide on who can be the nastiest or who can be the funniest. There's a big difference between what these two stand for. Let's put it out there and let people vote," said Romney supporter John Sorenson.

Republicans can pick up campaign signs and information about their candidates at the headquarters. It's located at 1504 U.S. Highway 19 South.

It will also be open on election night for Republican supporters to gather to watch election results come in.

Election Day is Tuesday November 6th.
